I am not sure I am worthy to even comment here. I doubt that I could ever vocalize words excellent enough to reflect all the wonder, joy and godspeed that YES has scored and stored in my heart, if not the worlds heart. I have YES on 45 rpm, on Reel to Reel, on LPs, on Cassettes, used to have YES on 8 track even. Now I have Videos, Discs, Books. Starting in 1973, I never missed an American tour until 2012. Each year YES was as wonderful as could be. I especially loved the Mud Island, Memphis, Tennessee show, the venue is intimate and our third row seats made “eye contact” possible between musician and listeners. (or so it seemed). During the 1970’s, this band I was in, did a pretty good job of playing Yours Is No Disgrace Studio version. Rehearsals and delving into the thoughts and sounds of this YES music was a privilege. I had a blast. I used my Kawai Acoustic Piano with a pick-up and mic’s, B3 with full pedals w/ a144 and a147 Leslie and a LoudSpeaker. My next dream will be to attend European Tour YES performance.


en ce moment je réécoute “going for the one” avec une pointe de nostalgie car c’était un des meilleurs album parmi les autres aussi bon relayer tale from topographic ocean etc anderson est pour moi le meilleur chanteur et compositeur yes c’est anderson le coeur meme du nectar sans anderson yes n’est plus yes n’en déplaise a mr squire qui se prend ^pour le boss et qui a osé viré le plus gros pilier du groupe car mr squire meme si celui çi est un bon bassiste il peut etre facilement remplacé sans qu’on s’en rende compte il n’a guère composé et sans anderson il n’en était pas capable bref c’est un pion et non le pilier le boss c’est anderson j’ai écouté awaken version 2013 avec le nouveau chanteur qui a la meme voix que le benoit qui lui imitait jon avec les techniques on peut aisément reproduire une voix bref messieurs les musiciens engagés par mr anderson a l’époque sachez que vous n’ètes que des ouvriers au service du pdg qu’est mr anderson regretable car yes a perdu son ame et son talent heureusement il reste les anciens albums qui relate une période dorée ou il y avait un groupe génial avec un chanteur hors normes et talentueux mr jon andersonn
